Job Coach
Summary Description: Provide day-to day supervision for employees &/or Service Participants. Collaborate with the Service Participant, the Employment Services Representative & others to develop & implement personal growth plans that maximize the Service Participants’ potentials for personal independence & financial self-sufficiency. Provide on-the-job vocational training, behavioral training, instruction & coaching for Service Participants &/or employees. Communicate in a professional manner, cooperate & coordinate with the host company representatives &/or other work site managers to develop & implement plans for setting-up the production area & work stations in a manner that insures employee/participant successful completion of assigned tasks.
Qualifications: A High School diploma or equivalent. Two years work and/or volunteer experience. At Least one year of experience in a production or social service setting. Ability to train, instruct, coach and motivate others. Organized and detail oriented. Ability to communicate effectively with others. Ability to function effectively as a part of a team. The employee must have a valid California motor vehicle driver license, current automobile insurance and be willing and able to use his/her personal vehicle in the course of employment and business activities.

Store Manager
Summary Description: To manage the daily operations of assigned retail store. Responsible for maintaining cleanliness, merchandising and inventory. Responsible for maintaining store in an orderly fashion, rotating merchandise, overseeing the productions and pricing of merchandise. Managing inventory for maximum return on product. Supervising and training all store personnel including new employees. Responsible for store safety. Responsible for assuring a high level of customer and donor service. Assure Goodwill policy and procedures are uniformly adhered.
Qualifications: High School diploma or its equivalent. Three to five years experience in retail sales with two to three years experience in supervisory position. Positive work history. Ability to understand complex instructions. Knowledge of retail and supervision of others. Understanding of value added process. Fluent oral and written communication skills. Bilingual Spanish a plus. Cooperation with Division Director and direct supervisors. Ability to supervise, direct, motivate, discipline staff as necessary. Ability to work well with the public. Close Out Buyer Processor
Summary Description: Receive new goods from vendors, both softlines (textiles) and hardlines (house wares, shoes, electrical, and similar), and process by sorting, defacing, pricing and packing for shipment to stores. Minimum acceptable production is 12 pallets per day of any combination of hard and softlines, processing from point of receipt to shipment. Maintain constant flow and improvement standards per Kaizen in process area. Assure equitable distribution of new goods per shipping schedule.Work in other areas of production and dock to assist with inventory management during down time from new goods process. Sort, grade and pack new goods received at the central processing facility.
Qualifications: Ability to read, write and understand simple instructions. Ability to work independently. Ability to keep accurate records of productivity. Ability to calculate prices from original retail to determine correct selling price for Goodwill store. Basic knowledge of process or manufacturing procedures desirable. Able to process merchandise according to established standards and piece rates. Able to maintain accurate records of production rates. Able to work safely and independently. Able to calculate simple mathematics. Able to support constant method assessment and change.

ShopGoodwill Clerk
Summary Description: Complete all required functions to post 30 items or more per day which includes selecting the items suitable for the auction site; taking pictures of these items; downloading these pictures into the computer; writing accurate descriptions of the items and posting them for auction. Identify saleable items for Shopgoodwill. Photograph the items and download the pictures to the computer. Post the item for auction by providing an accurate description/information together with the corresponding minimum bid. Research the items, when necessary. Research could entail internet searches or reading available information from books or magazines. Keep an organized and accurate inventory of items posted. Answer inquiries of customers either by e-mail or phone calls.
Qualifications: Minimum high school diploma or one year of clerical/computer work experience. Ability to read and write fluently, with emphasis on correct grammar and spelling. Ability to provide good customer service with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Operational knowledge of basic office machines with basic computer skills. Ability to type at least 45 words per minute. Ability to project a positive work attitude even under pressure. Dependable, reliable and consistent work performance. Ability to follow instructions and meet goals and deadlines. Knowledge of antiques/collectibles desired.

Asset Protection Manager
Summary Description: To plan and direct the company’s efforts to prevent and minimize the loss of assets. To develop policies, procedures and programs relating to the protection of company assets. To gauge risk exposure and potential liability and develop sound risk control measures. Develop, evaluate and monitor loss-prevention systems at all store locations, off-site facilities, ADC locations and Transportation. Works under the direct supervision of the Division Director for Human Resources & Corporate Support with considerable latitude for independent decision making in areas of responsibility. Directly supervises Facilities Guard(s) and Asset Protection Specialist(s).
Qualifications: High School education minimum, Bachelor of Arts Degree preferred. Eight years experience in security, loss prevention, and investigative services; five years supervisory experience. Ability to work independently with minimum supervision; flexible and adaptable in handling security matters 24 hours, 7 days a week. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact with all levels of management, employees, service participants, security agencies and the general public. Ability to write accurate, concise, grammatically correct letters, memos, proposals, reports, etc. Valid CA Driver’s License. Bilingual A plus.
